Kumbh Mela
Kumbh Mela Allahabad Held every 12 years on the banks of Sangam, the Kumbh Mela draws devout Hindus from across the globe. It is attended by Saints, pilgrims, believers and commoners alike. A dip into the sacred waters and offerings to the Sun God are believed to clean the soul. Sheer religious fervour and deep abiding faith lend an incomparable air to the fair. In effect, the Kumbh attracts millions who congregate on the banks of the Sangam and bring alive a temporary township where Kalpvasis stay.

Ardh Kumbh Mela
Second only to the Kumbh in sanctity, the Ardh Kumbh is celebrated every six years, on the banks of the sangam, Millions of devotees, from around the world come to attend this festival.

Magh Mela
It is the annual version of the Kumbh Mela, held in all years other than those of Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh.

Dussehra
This celebration is unique in Allahabad. In the evening and at night, beautifully decorated "Chowkis" (Tableaus) start from different localities, displaying scenes from Indian mythology.
