Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, Wandoor

29 kms. from Port Blair, this park is an abode of dense mangrove forest, tropical forests, magnificant coral reefs, colourful under water marine life. Spread over an area of 281.5 sq.km., it covers oen sea, creeks & 15 small & large islands.

It also offers a base for the tourists who want to visit the islands of Cinue, Jolly Buoy, Red Skin. Glass bottom boats are thebest way to have close look at the exquisite coral reefs. One can also hire snorkelling equipmentfor memorable experience.

Cinque Islands

Tropical rain forests, underwater marine life, coras, fascinating islands are all a part of Cinque, which has been declared a sanctuary. The best part of it is the unique sandy beach with a sand bar that connects the islands of North & South Cinque.

Chidiya Tapu

Popular as the Bird island, it is located at the extreme south of South Andaman & is 25 ms from Port Blair. Lush green mangroves & the beaches add to it's beauty. There is also a Forest Guest House situated at the top of a hill which offers a bird's eye view of the isolated islands, corals & the picturesque sunset.

Madhuban

75 kms. by road & 20 kms. by ferry & road from Port Blair, it is an ideal place for trekkers who want to explore the exquisite flora & fauna of North East South Andaman.

Sippighat Farm

A government farm spread over 80 acres, it is used for Research & Development od spices like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon & coconut. Also nearby is the Research & Demonstration Farm of the Central Agricultural Research Institute ( CARI ).

Lies close to the Andamna Teal House, Delanipur. At the Zoological Survey of India Museum & Research Library every possible information on the different varieties of butterflies, corals, centipedes, sponges etc. is readily available.
