Kotipalle Travel InformationA holy pilgrim centre for Shivaites, it is located 45 Kms from Kakinada near Draksharamam. According to a legend, king Indra was assert by sage Gautama. To relieve himself of the curse he installed a Shivalinga and anointed it with water from one crore rivers.

Hence this temple is known as Kotilingeshwara temple. It is believed that a holy dip in the river Godavari relieves one from all sins.
