Ridhpur is situated in the Morshi Taluka in Amravati District on the Chandur Bazar-Morshi Road. Ridhpur is the pilgrimage centre for the Mahanubhav cult and is also known as 'Kashi of Mahanubhav cult followers' throughout the country. Thousands of pilgrims visit Ridhpur on Ashadh Pournima, Chaitra pournima and Govind Prabhu Jayanti (August-September). Besides this, the holy place is visited by pilgrims in great numbers daily.
